The latest North Hills Youth Lacrosse Clinic was held on Saturday, August 5th at Martorelli Stadium. The event was a huge success with a total of 125 North Hills individuals (players and coaches) on the field at one time!!!
The North Hills Boys Lacrosse clinic was led by Varsity Coach Don Longo, Middle School Coaches Josh Spangler and Brian James as well as several High School players. The boys had 70 total players on the field with 45 of them new to the Lacrosse and many of them taking an interest in playing in the spring.
The North Hills Girls Lacrosse clinic was led by Varsity Coach James Cassandro, Middle School Coaches Faith Campbell and Scott Bolinda as well as many high school players. The girls had 55 total players with 35 of them new to Lacrosse and many of them taking interest in playing in the spring.
There were also North Hills Boys and Girls Lacrosse Alumni back to help teach for this event and they were encouraged by the great turn out and excitement for lacrosse in the community. Finally, the clinic featured Peter Tulk, Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at St. Vincent’s College, who was in attendance teaching the players and sharing his experiences.
