Cheer Competition Team Places Second at Slippery Rock

Congratulations to our NH Cheerleader Competition Team who came in second place at the Allegheny Regional Competition at Slippery Rock this past weekend! The Competition team will be competing for the WPIAL Competitive Spirit Championships on January 9th at Hempfield High School.

The North Hills Wrestling team demonstrated several strong opening performances at the Chartiers Houston Wrestling Tournament this weekend. The team placed tenth overall out of 28 teams.  Individual accomplishments include the following: Zane Curry placed fourth at 113 lbs. Gage Curry won the Championship at 120 lbs. Boys Basketball Defeats Fox Chapel

The boys basketball team defeated Fox Chapel by the score of 77-68 on Saturday afternoon in the annual Tip-Off Basketball Tournament hosted by the North Hills Basketball Booster Association. Girls Basketball Comes Up Short to South Fayette

The girls basketball team fell to host South Fayette in the championship of the Tip-Off Tournament yesterday by the score of 57-49. The Indians kept it close throughout and were led by Jamie Halloran who poured in 25 points including a half court buzzer beater to end the third quarter. Sophomore Jordan O’Malley added 8 points. 

North Hills Basketball Falls to Baldwin

The North Hills Basketball team was defeated by Baldwin last night by the score of 68-58. Nick Smith led the Indians in scoring with 21 points while Jon Stuckert and Andrew Paulauskas scored 15 and 14 points. North Hills will play Fox Chapel in the consolation game today in the Annex gym.

Swimming and Diving Defeat Hopewell

The North Hills Swimming and Diving Team had its home opener against Hopewell last night.   Both the Men and Womens’ Team swept the Vikings and captured two wins.    The NH Indians accomplished a bolstering 17 WPIAL cuts.The Divers started the meet off right with both Autumn Fotta and Joey Wolff breaking over 200 points and

Wrestlers Have Productive First Day at Chartiers Houston Tournament

The North Hills Wrestling team had a very productive first day at the Chartiers Houston Wrestling Tournament Friday night.  Currently, the team is in tenth place out of twenty-eight teams.  Nine wrestlers will compete today in the tournament. In addition, Gage Curry, Keagan Lawson and John MacPherson are in the semi-finals and will compete for individual championships
