GIRLS VARSITY SOFTBALL · 

Sophia Roncone struck out 14 and gave up just 4 hits over 7 scoreless innings. Kassidy Wittig hit a lead off single, Brenna Westwood followed with a single and Maria Chutko hit a sac fly RBI scoring Wittig on what would prove to be the winning run.  Senior Abby Scheller hit a one out double and freshman Alexa Edmunds capped off a 4 run first inning with a 2 run homerun. Junior Hanna Murphy added a 2 run homerun of her own in the 3rd.  The team will take on Armstrong in the WPIAL Semifinal on Tuesday at a site and time to be determined.
