GIRLS VARSITY SOFTBALL · 

North Hills defeated Upper St. Clair HS by a score of 7-3. Offensively, North Hills was led by senior centerfielder Kassidy Wittig who went 3/4 from the plate with 2 doubles.  The team had a 11 hits in total, including a home run by senior Kyra Blauth. USC’s 2nd baseman Pries hit a 3 run homerun in the 6th to move USC within 2 runs.  The Indians will move on to the quarterfinal game on Thursday with a site and opponent TBD.
