Junior pitcher Sophia Roncone was named the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’ 5A softball player of the year after her performance this past season and throughout the Indians’ WPIAL Championship run.
Sophia finished with a 16-6 overall record with a 3.24 ERA and had 175 strikeouts.
