Information for 2022-2023 Winter Sports

The fall sports season is all but complete, so it's time to begin shifting the focus toward winter sports.

In the winter, North Hills offers the following sports:

  • Boys' Basketball (Varsity, JV, JH, and MS)
  • Girls' Basketball (Varsity, JV, and MS)
  • Girls' Gymnastics (Varsity)
  • Boys' and Girls' Swimming and Diving (Varsity)
  • Unified Bocce
  • Wrestling (Varsity and JH)

For information on each sport, coaches can be contacted by visiting the coach directory.

All students that wish to participate this winter will need to complete a sports physical, which must have been completed after June 1, 2022.

North Hills uses Healthy Roster to electronically collect all required paperwork for interscholastic and club sport athletes. Healthy Roster opens annually for the upcoming school year on June 1.

To create a Healthy Roster account, visit this link and fill out the form. Within 3-5 business days, you will receive an invitation from Healthy Roster to set up your account. Please note: Once you receive the invite, you have 24 hours to set up your account before the passcode expires.

The following paperwork is required and must be submitted through Healthy Roster:

  • PIAA CIPPE – Sections 1 and 2
  • PIAA CIPPE – Sections 3 and 4
  • PIAA CIPPE – Section 5 and 6
  • PIAA CIPPE – Section 7*
  • PIAA CIPPE – Section 8** (multi-sport athletes)
  • AHN Sports Medicine HIPPA
  • AHN Sports Medicine Consent to Treat
  • North Hills School District Acknowledgement of Information and Release Form

*The PIAA CIPPE – Section 7 form must be printed and taken to the doctor’s office for completion. The completed form should then be scanned or photographed and uploaded to Healthy Roster.

**The PIAA CIPPE – Section 8 form is for multi-sport athletes or students participating in more than one sport in an athletic year. Please note: This form opens six weeks prior to the start of the sports season.

For help with Healthy Roster, visit the training section of the Healthy Roster website.

Questions can also be directed to one of our licensed athletic trainers by messaging them via the Healthy Roster app or at the information listed below:

In addition, the Concussion Baseline Testing scheduling site is now live. Students entering grades 7, 9, and 11 need a new baseline for this year. Any athletes that are new to these sports and entering grades 8, 10, or 12 are eligible to schedule a test as well.

Please take a look at the attached PDF. It explains the new concussion testing software and includes information on installing the free application, on either an Apple or Android mobile phone or tablet computer, prior to arrival.

We can’t wait to see everyone in action this winter!
