Fall sports are officially in full swing, as the calendar has flipped to September and Labor Day is behind us.

Girls' Soccer

Girls' soccer played two tough games in their opening week but lost both contests, 2-0. The JV team earned a tie against Fox Chapel.

Boys' Soccer 

Like the girls, the varsity boys also began their season with a pair of losses. The team played a close game against Central Catholic at the beginning of the week, and the JV team ended the game in a 1-1 draw.

Boys’ Golf 

Varsity golf fell to Butler last week, bringing their record to 0-4 on the season. However, the boys did put together their lowest score so far this season in the loss.

Girls’ Tennis

After a couple of losses early in the week, the varsity tennis team picked up a 3-2 victory on Friday in its match against Canon McMillan. The girls now own a 3-2 record on the season.

Football

The varsity team played in its home opener on Friday night. North Hills fell to Upper Saint Clair, 37-7, bringing their record to 0-2 this season.

Girls’ Volleyball

The girls' varsity volleyball team backed up last weekend's second-place tournament finish with a pair of 3-0 wins last week. North Hills is now ranked in the top-nine in 4A according to both the Coaches' Rankings (#9) and the Post-Gazette (#6). 

The JV team has also put together an impressive 2-0 record to start the season.
