Almost all of our fall teams have completed their seasons. As we enter the last full week of October, this is where our teams stand:

Girls' Soccer

The girls’ soccer team went 1-1 last week, falling to Butler before taking down Springdale. With the season now complete, the girls finish with a 2-16 record. It wasn’t always easy, but our girls fought hard all year.

Boys' Soccer 

Boys’ soccer lost its season finale last week on the road against Central Valley. The boys end the year with a 1-16-1 record. Like the girls, the boys battled hard all season. The eighth grade team tied an unbeaten NA team last week to finish its season 11-2-4.

Football

Varsity football hosted Franklin Regional on Friday and lost 34-14. The non-section defeat does not damage the Indians’ playoff hopes, which will hinge on this Friday’s finale at Pine-Richland. The middle school team concluded its schedule last week, finishing the season unbeaten.

Girls’ Volleyball

The varsity volleyball team went 1-1 last week, falling to Pine-Richland before sweeping Fox Chapel. On Friday, the girls learned that they were awarded the 12-seed in the postseason and will travel to Canon McMillan on Tuesday for their first-round playoff matchup.

Cross Country

The cross country teams ran a pair of races last week. This week, the focus shifts to the WPIAL Championships, which are on Thursday.
