One team remains in action as we prepare to flip the calendar to November. Here is where our teams stand:

Football

The varsity football traveled to Pine-Richland on Friday to conclude its regular season schedule. While the Indians did not come away with a win, they qualified for the postseason thanks to some important wins earlier in the year.

They will travel to Bethel Park on Friday night for a 7:00 kickoff against the top-seeded Blackhawks. The game will be a rematch of the teams’ week one meeting, which Bethel Park won, 22-10.

Girls’ Volleyball

Girls’ volleyball made its first playoff appearance in a long time last week when the team traveled to Canon McMillan. Unfortunately, the girls fell in three sets, ending their season. Congratulations to our volleyball team on a great year!

Cross Country

The varsity cross country teams ran in the WPIAL Championships on Thursday at Cal U. The boys’ team finished 15^th out of 24 teams. Logan Baxter and Maggie Mollenauer were the top finishers for the boys and girls, respectively. Congratulations to all of our runners on a great season!

Varsity football is the only team left in action this fall, and with the team set to travel for its first-round playoff matchup, there will be no home events this week.
