The varsity football team qualified for the postseason this year, despite losing in their season finale against Pine-Richland last week.

With a section record of 3-2, North Hills finished in third place in its section by virtue of a head-to-head tie breaker over Penn Hills, who the Indians defeated earlier in the season.

As the 8-seed in the WPIAL 5A Football Championship bracket, North Hills will have a rematch with top-seeded Bethel Park. The Black Hawks won the regular season matchup, 22-10. 

The quarterfinal contest will be played on Friday, November 4 at 7:00 at Bethel Park High School. Tickets can be purchased online for $5 (students) and $7 (adults). All tickets sold at the gate will be $7.
