The varsity football team fought hard but fell on Friday night at Bethel Park.

North Hills entered the playoffs as the 8-seed, so they hit the road to play the top-seeded Black Hawks. Bethel Park looked like the top team that they are when they scored two quick touchdowns to take a 14-0 lead.

The Indians answered with a touchdown of their own, cutting the deficit in half. North Hills scored again in the second quarter, and at halftime, it was 16-14 BP.

In the third quarter, NH took its first lead of the game with a field goal, but a field goal in the fourth quarter by the Black Hawks would seal the game for Bethel Park, 19-17.

While it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for on Friday, the boys played a tough game. Congratulations on an exciting season!
