The first full week of December is in the books. Check out how our teams started the season.

Girls’ Basketball

The girls’ basketball team had an unbelievable week. After losing their season opener on Tuesday, the girls won at home on Thursday, 54-31. Over the weekend, they participated in the Saint Joseph’s Tournament and went 2-0 to win the tournament in convincing fashion.

Girls’ middle school basketball also enjoyed a strong first week, finishing with a 2-0 record.

Boys’ Basketball

After going 1-1 in last weekend’s tip-off tournament, the boys returned to the floor on Friday at North Allegheny and earned an impressive 83-55 victory over the Tigers.

The boys’ freshman basketball team went 2-0 last week, as did both boys’ middle school teams.

Swimming and Diving

In varsity swimming and diving, the boys improved to 2-0 on the season by picking up a 96-79 win. The girls fell, 72-114, to move to 0-1-1 this winter.

Wrestling

The varsity wrestling team began last week with a victory over Fox Chapel before losing to North Allegheny. On Saturday, they hosted the NH Duals in which they went undefeated to win. Team MVPs for the day were Carter Morvay and Evan Letky.
