On Friday, the boys’ varsity basketball team clinched sole possession of the section title for the second straight season. On Monday, they learned the time and opponent for their first playoff game.

North Hills will play host to Kiski Area on Friday, February 17 at 8:00 PM in the second game of a WPIAL first-round doubleheader at the North Hills Middle School. The Indians come in as the three-seed in the boys’ 5A tournament with a 17-5 record, while Kiski Area, the 14-seed, is 11-11.

Tickets for Friday’s game will be available online beginning on Tuesday, February 14 at 10:00 AM. The cost online is $5 for students and $7 for adults. Fans can also purchase tickets at the gate where all general admission tickets will be $7. There will be no student tickets at the gate.

Please note that North Hills passes (senior citizen pass, all-sports pass, etc.) will not be accepted, as this is a WPIAL event.
