The winter sports playoffs are upon us. Below is a recap of the regular season’s conclusion and the postseason’s start for those teams that competed last week.

Boys’ Basketball

Boys’ varsity basketball played its first WPIAL playoff game of the winter on Friday. The boys had to make a comeback after facing a halftime deficit, but they did and defeated Kiski Area 76-71 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Swimming and Diving

The swimming and diving teams wrapped up their team schedules with a trip to North Allegheny last Thursday. WPIAL championships begin next week for the athletes that qualified.

Unified Bocce

Unified Bocce played its final match of the season last Monday at Hampton. Congratulations to everyone on a successful first season!
