Sophomore Kayden Lightner has spent the winter running at indoor track events, and he has qualified for the PA Track and Field Coaches Association (PTFCA) Indoor State Championship.

He will run the 800 meters after qualifying with a time of 1:56.16. Entering the meet, which will take place on Sunday, February 26 at Penn State, Lightner ranks eighth overall in the state, first among PA sophomores, and second among U.S. sophomores. 

The events will begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, and the top eight finishers will receive awards. Congratulations to Kayden on qualifying, and good luck this weekend!
