This week, members of the boys’ and girls’ varsity swim teams will be competing at the University of Pittsburgh in the WPIAL 3A Championships.

On the girls’ side, the 200 medley relay qualified and will consist of Paige Lange, Amanda Bliss, Katrina Gurchak, and Ella Crowley. Lange will also compete individually in the 100 backstroke.

For the boys, three relays qualified: 200 medley (Brady Lawrence, Cory Chen, Dane Fazio, and Conor Greer), 200 free (Greer, Ari Gurchak, Bryce Sweeny, and Othmane Eljoufri), and 400 free (Lawrence, Greer, Chen, and Fazio).

Individually, North Hills will have Chen and Fazio in the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke and Lawrence in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
