On Friday night, the boys’ basketball team will be hosting its first-round game in the PIAA 5A boys’ basketball tournament.

The home game for the Indians, the third seed from the WPIAL, will be against Mechanicsburg, the fourth-place finisher in District 3. North Hills is 20-6 on the season, while Mechanicsburg is 18-8.

Doors will open on Friday at 5:15, and tip-off will be at 6:00. The Avonworth/Forest Hills 3A girls’ game will begin following the North Hills game (7:30 start). All tickets will be sold online, per the PIAA’s guidelines.
