Dylan Barnes and Brenna Westwood have been named the North Hills Student-Athletes of the Month for March.
Barnes, a senior on the boys’ baseball team, has been a catalyst for his team’s early-season success. In March, his batting average was over .600 as he racked up multiple extra-base hits and scored eight runs.
In the classroom, Barnes has compiled a cumulative GPA of 4.075 over his four years at North Hills.
Westwood, a senior on the girls’ softball team, hit .565 in March with five doubles. She, too, has been a driving force behind her team’s success as a result. Earlier this year, she committed to playing college softball at Shenandoah University.
Off the field, Westwood has taken a rigorous course load comprised of multiple CHS and AP classes and has earned an impressive 4.137 GPA.
Congratulations, Dylan and Brenna, and good luck through the rest of the spring!
