There are three weeks left in the spring sports regular season. Here’s an update on all of our teams.

Softball

Varsity softball scored 25 runs in two games last week, including 15 in a comeback win on Friday, to go 2-0. The girls are now 10-1 on the season and have an important rematch with Shaler Area coming up this week. 

Baseball

Varsity baseball split a two-game series with Moon last week and had a walk-off win against Knoch to go 2-1. They now own a 10-2 record overall. JV baseball also split with Moon to stay above .500 this spring while middle school baseball picked up a win against Woodland Hills.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Girls’ lacrosse went 2-1 last week. They put an exclamation point on the week with a 21-10 win over Norwin on Friday. So far this season, the girls are 7-3.

Boys’ Lacrosse

The boys’ lacrosse team was 1-1 last week. It ended the week with an 18-3 win over Greater Latrobe. The team is now 6-4 on the year.

Boys’ Volleyball

Varsity volleyball continued its difficult stretch by going 0-2 last week. The team’s record has fallen to 4-6 as it looks to snap a six-match skid.

Boys’ Tennis

The varsity tennis team hit the road to take on Canon McMillan last week but lost in its lone match of the week.

Track

Varsity track is officially into invite season as the team traveled to Butler last Friday. Middle school track has also wrapped up its regular season with both the boys and girls finishing with winning records.
