Girls’ lacrosse player Gianna Reed and boys’ tennis player Josh Kim have been named the Student-Athletes of the Month for April.

Reed, a junior on the lacrosse team, recorded 84 saves while going 4-2 last month. As a result, she helped her team pull off a couple of upsets en route to clinching a home playoff game. Coach Cassandro spoke highly of her sportsmanship and positive outlook.

In the classroom, Gianna has volunteered for a number of clubs and events, all while posting a 4.05 GPA and taking three CHS classes and one honors class.

Kim, a junior on the tennis team, posted a 6-3 record this season as one of the team’s top players. He served as captain, and Coach Myers praised the way that he helped his teammates develop their skills throughout the season.

Off the court, Kim has compiled a 4.16 GPA while taking two CHS classes and four AP classes. He has also participated in band competitions and is a member of the 2023 PMEA All-State Orchestra roster.
