On Wednesday, the boys’ varsity baseball team took on Upper Saint Clair in the first round of the 5A WPIAL playoffs.

The Indians conceded the first two runs of the game but quickly bounced back to even the score. A couple of innings later, North Hills had opened the game up by taking a 7-2 lead.

Upper St. Clair wasn’t done, though, as they posted seven runs in one inning to take a 9-7 lead, one that they would keep until the final out was recorded.

The first-round loss ends what was a successful season for North Hills. The Indians finish the year with an overall record of 13-8.
