Kayden Lightner and Addyson Wrigley have been named the September Student-Athletes of the Month.
Lightner, a junior on the varsity cross country team, came away with two invitational awards in September and claimed two individual wins in meets. In addition, he ran the fastest 5k by a North Hills runner since 2017.
Outside of cross country, Lightner has compiled a 4.1 GPA. This semester, he is taking two AP classes, one CHS class, and two honors classes.
Wrigley, a junior on the varsity volleyball team, led the team with a .358 hitting percentage and 24 blocks in September. As a result, she was a key piece of her team’s impressive 7-3 September record.
In the classroom, Wrigley has been strong as well. She has a 3.8 GPA and a course load that includes CHS and honors classes.
Congratulations to Kayden and Addyson! Keep up the great work.
