On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette released its list of 2023 girls’ volleyball All-Stars.

Across three All-Star teams, North Hills had six girls recognized. On the third team were senior Jenna Dominek (setter), senior Angie Bekelja-Wagner (right-side hitter), and freshman Addison Zdinak (outside hitter).

Two volleyball players made the second team, as senior Giana Cutenese (libero) and junior Addyson Wrigley (middle hitter) were recognized. Both players were also recognized as Big 56 All-Section honorees.

The lone student-athlete to be honored on the first team was sophomore Ashlyn Fazio (outside hitter). Like Cutenese and Wrigley, she too was recognized by the Big 56. Fazio earned first-team honors on that list as well.
