On Wednesday, the Big 56 announced the All-Section teams for football, and North Hills had 12 student-athletes represented.

Four of those student-athletes earned honorable mention recognition, including Jack Scarsella (kicker), Joey Lutz (inside linebacker), Brett Fonzi (center), and Wes Taylor (guard). For Scarsella, this is his second Big 56 All-Section recognition this fall after being named an honorable mention in boys’ soccer.

Three North Hills football players earned second-team recognition. Ryan Carey made it at defensive end, Jack Martin earned his spot as a running back, and Logan Johnson joined the second team as a tight end.

The Indians were well-represented on the first team, as five players earned a spot. The lone player on the offensive side of the ball was senior offensive tackle Jacob Messina. On defense, sophomore Jamar Allen (defensive tackle), Josiah Mathis (defensive back), Julius Green (defensive back), and Dan Dalton (punter) all earned recognition.
