For the first time in years, the varsity wrestling team is heading to the playoffs.

The Indians ended their section schedule with a 3-2 record, which was good enough to earn them second place in the section and a spot in the 3A team playoffs. 

To get the postseason started, North Hills will travel to Bethel Park on Wednesday, January 31 to take on the Black Hawks. The winner of that match will take on the winner of North Allegheny and Baldwin later in the night. The victor in that group of four will advance to the 3A semifinals.

Wednesday’s match at Bethel Park is scheduled to begin at 6:00. As it is a WPIAL event, all tickets will be $7 at the door, or they can be purchased online for $5 (student) or $7 (adult).
