Unified bocce clinches spot at regionals
Updated on 04/30/2024

North Hills sent two unified bocce teams to the division playoffs on Wednesday. The two teams faced off in the first round, with the top-seeded Team 2 advancing to the championship game.

North Hills 2 took on Hampton with an automatic bid to regionals on the line. The Indians and Talbots played a back-and-forth match, but Hampton ultimately came out on top.

With the second-place finish, North Hills did not earn the automatic spot in the regional competition, but they did earn a wild card berth. As a result, the team will play at Geneva on Wednesday, March 6.

They will be the six-seed in the eight-team field, taking on third-seeded Franklin Regional. The quarterfinal match will begin at 2:00 with the semifinals, consolation games, and championship game to follow. The winner of the regional competition will advance to the state competition.

Congratulations on moving on to regionals!
