Fifteen swimmers competed at the 2024 WPIAL 3A Swimming Championships held at Trees Pool on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh last Thursday and Friday, Feb. 29 and March 1.

Senior Dane Fazio placed 2nd and 3rd in 100 Breaststroke and 50 Freestyle, respectively, breaking the school record in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 57.08. He qualified to compete at the PIAA Swimming Championships to be held March 13 and 14 at Bucknell University in both individual events.

Additionally, our boys' 200 Medley Relay team of Cory Chen, Conor Gareer, Othmane Eljoufri and Fazio placed 7th and also set a new school record of 1:38.63, more than a second faster than their qualifying seed time!

Top finishes on the girls side included our girls' 200 Medley Relay team of Paige Lange, Amanda Bliss, Maddie Dube and Ella Crowley placing 10th, and Bliss’ 12th place finish in 100 Breaststroke.
