Unified bocce eyes regional title

The North Hills unified bocce team that entered last week’s divisional playoffs as the top seed is set to travel to Geneva College on Wednesday for regional competition.
The 11-1 Indians enter the competition as the six-seed after earning a wild card berth via their second-place finish last week. North Hills will face third-seeded Franklin Regional in the quarterfinals. Only the regional champion will emerge from the field of eight teams to punch a ticket to Hershey for the state competition.
Wednesday’s quarterfinal match will begin at 2:00, with the semifinals, consolation games, and championship game to follow.
