After appearing on the medal stand three times at the WPIAL Swimming and Diving Championships, Dane Fazio is set to compete in the state competition in Hershey.

Fazio, who earned a bronze and a silver medal as an individual last week, will swim in two events at the PIAA Championships. 

His first event will be the 50 freestyle, where he is ranked 14^th coming into the week. The preliminary race is on Wednesday morning in Session 1. If he qualifies for the final, he will swim in that race on Wednesday evening in Session 3.

Fazio’s second event is the 100 breaststroke. He set a new school record in that event at the WPIAL Championships (57.08), and he will be seeded ninth going into Hershey. The preliminary race is on Thursday morning (Session 5), and the finals will be in the evening (Session 7).
