This week, the boys’ tennis team competed in Section Singles, with the top four individuals advancing to the WPIAL Singles next week.

Senior Josh Kim entered the competition as the three-seed, so he had a bye in the first round. A convincing win in his first matchup propelled him to the semifinals on day two.

While he lost and came up just short of the first-place match, he bounced back with a win in the third-place match to claim a spot and improve his seeding in the WPIAL Singles.

WPIAL Singles will be played on April 9 at Bethel Park High School and April 10 at North Allegheny High School. Congratulations, Josh, and good luck!
