On Tuesday, senior Josh Kim traveled to Bethel Park to compete in the WPIAL Tennis Singles.

Kim qualified for the WPIAL Singles after earning third place in the Section Singles last week. He was awarded the nine-seed and took down the eight-seed in the first round. In round two, he went head-to-head with the top player in the tournament and lost.

With the loss, his individual run ended on day one of the WPIAL Singles. Team competition for the boys’ tennis team will resume on Wednesday when they host Mars.
