On Thursday, the Big 56 released the all-section teams for softball, and North Hills had six individuals honored in Class 5A Section 1.

Senior Savannah Bodnar (outfield) was the lone player named to the second team. Senior Kaylee Bischoff (outfield) and sophomore Lily Adamski (catcher) were given honorable mention nods.

Two Indians players earned the highest honor by being named to the first team. Those players were senior infielder Addyson Wrigley and sophomore pitcher Abby Sutton.

In addition, head coach Libby Gasior was named the Class 5A Section 1 Coach of the Year after leading North Hills to a section championship for the second time in the last three seasons.
