North Hills senior golfer Kasey Toia will compete in the final round of the WPIAL 3A Boys' Golf Individual Championship after advancing in the first round.

Kasey started the round at Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24, with consistent play until he arrived at the fourth hole, a par 3, where he posted an 8. He, however, rebounded quickly with a birdie on hole No. 5, a par 5. From there, Kasey played steady to score an 81 and tie for 22nd place. The top 36 golfers advance.

Kasey will participate in the final round of the championship next Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Oakmont Country Club, the location of the 2025 U.S. Open!

No North Hills golfer has made it to the final round in at least the last 15 years.
