North Hills High School senior Kasey Toia competed in the final round of the WPIAL 3A Boys' Golf Individual Championship at Oakmont Country Club on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Entering the day nine shots back from the first-round last week, Kasey, the golf team’s co-captain, posted an impressive 77, which is just six over par at Oakmont, the home of the 2025 United States Open.
His total for the championship, +15, left him one shot shy of advancing to the PIAA tournament in three weeks at Penn State.
In addition to his success on the course, Kasey was recently accepted to Robert Morris University to study accounting and has been awarded a $104,000 merit scholarship!
We are #nhproud of Kasey for representing North Hills at the highest level, both on the golf course and in the classroom. Congratulations!
