The end of the fall sports season is in sight. Here is an update on where the teams still in action stand.
Cross Country
The varsity cross country teams were not in action last week, but they will return to the course this week when they travel to White Oak Park for the TSTCA Invitational.
Football
The varsity football team traveled to Shaler last week and defeated the Titans, 34-10. With the win, the Indians improve to 7-1 this season (3-1 in the section) and set themselves up for a key showdown this week with Penn Hills.
Girls’ Soccer
Girls' soccer went 0-3 last week, losing a pair of section games and dropping a tightly-contested 1-0 game against Deer Lakes. With one game remaining this season, the girls are 3-14.
Boys’ Soccer
Last week was a trying week for the boys' soccer team. Section losses to Pine-Richland (2-1) and Seneca Valley (5-3) made for an 0-2 week. They'll have one more chance to get back on track this week before the regular season ends and the playoffs begin.
Girls’ Volleyball
The girls' volleyball team went 0-2 last week with losses against Butler and North Allegheny. Over the weekend, the team played in the State College Tournament, and now, there are two matches left before the season concludes.
