Lightner runs in PIAA Cross Country Championships

Over the weekend, senior Kayden Lightner traveled to Hershey to run in the PIAA Cross Country Championships.
Lightner, a silver medalist in the 2024 PIAA Track & Field Championships, was making his first appearance in the cross country state meet. He was the first North Hills qualifier since 2018.
Kayden entered the meet coming off a 17th place finish in the WPIAL Championships. In the field of 250 runners in Hershey, he finished in a time of 17:35, which was 15 seconds outside of the top 100.
Reaching the PIAA Championships is a tremendous feat. Congratulations, Kayden, on a great fall season!
