North Hills boys' soccer coach Kyle Boggs was named 4A Section 3 Coach of the Year by the Big 56.

In his second season leading the boys' soccer program, Boggs propelled the Indians to their first playoff appearance since 2016. With a 10-8 record in the regular season, the team earned the 12-seed in the WPIAL 4A bracket.

Boggs then led North Hills to its first postseason win since 2014 and its first quarterfinal appearance since 1999 by knocking off the defending 4A champions in round one.

The Big 56 released its all-section teams for boys' and girls' soccer and girls' volleyball on Thursday, where the boys' soccer team saw four players recognized in addition to Boggs.
