The winter sports season is here, and the teams at North Hills have begun competing. Here is an early look at what our teams are doing:
Girls' Basketball
The varsity basketball team played a couple of tightly contested games last week but came away with two losses. So far this season, the girls own a 2-3 record.
Boys' Basketball
The boys' basketball team went 0-3 last week, losing games to Shaler Area, New Castle, and Knoch. Through the first two weeks of competition, the boys are 1-4.
Gymnastics
The gymnastics team competed in the first meet of the season on Friday against Pine-Richland. The Rams earned a 127.875-116.9 win over North Hills.
Indoor Track
Indoor track has begun training, but the teams will not compete until January 11 when they travel to Youngstown State.
Swimming & Diving
Varsity swimming and diving competed twice last week. The boys won both meets to improve to 4-0 on the season. The girls also won twice and are 3-1 this winter.
Unified Bocce
The unified bocce teams have not yet begun competition. Their first matches of the season are scheduled for December 17 at North Allegheny.
Wrestling
Varsity wrestling lost a match last week against North Allegheny, then hosted the North Hills Duals over the weekend. The junior high team competed in the South Fayette Tournament and finished 13th.

7:30 - Boys' Varsity Basketball vs Butler (MS Annex Gym)
