Alaina Maiette and Conor Greer have been named the Student-Athletes of the Month for December.

Maiette, a senior on the girls' swimming & diving team, is a team captain this season and a starter. She is described by Coach Loutsenhizer as being “encouraging of teammates” and “a leader to the team.”

Out of the pool, Maiette has a 3.8 GPA and is studying Veterinary Sciences at A.W. Beattie Career Center.

Greer, a senior member of the boys' swimming & diving team, is also a captain. This season, he has already qualified to compete in the WPIAL Championships next month.

In the classroom, Greer has posted a 3.8 GPA. His course load contains one CHS class and a pair of AP classes.
