February has arrived, and it's now or never for the teams and student-athletes vying for spots in the postseason. Here is an updated look at where they stand:

Girls' Basketball

Girls' basketball went 0-2 last week to fall to 2-6 in section play. However, the girls still have a shot at the postseason if they can pick up a couple of wins and get some help this week.

Boys' Basketball

The boys' basketball team also went 0-2 last week and, like the girls' team, still has a chance to get into the playoffs. With a 5-7 section record, the boys currently hold the fifth and final playoff position.

Gymnastics

Varsity gymnastics has already wrapped up the regular season. The WPIAL Gymnastics Championships begin on February 7.

Indoor Track

The indoor track team did not compete last week. The next meet for the team will be on Saturday, February 8, at Youngstown State.

Swimming & Diving

The swimming & diving teams split their meet with Pine-Richland last week. The girls lost 97-75 to fall to 6-5, while the boys won 108-73 to improve to 7-2.

Unified Bocce

The unified bocce teams hosted Pine-Richland last week, splitting their matches with the Rams. Heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, North Hills 1 (5-2) is in position to make the playoffs.

Wrestling

Last week was busy for the varsity wrestling team as they began the postseason with a 40-25 win over Penn Trafford. The bracket then sent them to Thomas Jefferson on Wednesday where they lost 55-14.

Despite the loss, the season continues for the Indians, who lost to Butler on Friday and will host Peters Township this week.
