Over the weekend, the varsity wrestlers competed in the Northern Sectional with spots in the WPIAL Individual Championships up for grabs.

North Hills had a successful day, as nine wrestlers advanced to the WPIAL competition. The wrestlers moving on, along with their weight classes and placements in sectionals, is as follows:

Giovanni Polito - 107 lbs, 6th place

Brady Rohaly - 114 lbs, 1st place

Logan Milligan - 121 lbs, 6th place

Paul Cerminaro - 139 lbs, 4th place

Thomas Cloonan - 152 lbs, 6th place

Austin DeMartino - 160 lbs, 4th place

Carter Morvay - 172 lbs, 2nd place

Cameron Healey - 215 lbs, 6th place

Burkhonjon Sobirjonov - 285 lbs, 4th place

The WPIAL Individual Championships will be held on Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, at Canon-McMillan High School.
