On Monday, January 27, the North Hills varsity wrestling team will host the first round of the WPIAL 3A playoff tournament.

The Indians will take on the Penn-Trafford Warriors to kick off the postseason. North Hills enters the tournament as the Section 6 champions after claiming the first section crown in program history. With a win, the boys would advance to face Thomas Jefferson.

Monday's contest between the Indians and Warriors will be the second of two matches at North Hills. The 6:00 match will feature Butler and Belle Vernon, with North Hills and Penn-Trafford to follow at 7:15. Both matches will be in the high school gym.

For fans attending Monday's contests, remember that these are WPIAL events, which means that all tickets must be purchased online via GoFan. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate, but all sales must be completed online.
